Relics are a series of sculpture
emphasizing the histories held within materials.
These kinetic wooden sculptures explore the way memories move through us—turning, shifting, and changing over time. Using reclaimed wood and found parts, I build gears and mechanisms that set these pieces in motion.
I’m drawn to the imperfections and history in reclaimed materials. By giving them new purpose, I connect past with future, grounding my process distinctly in between. Through movement and form, my works invite viewers to explore the space between memory and imagination, the push and pull between remembering and forgetting.
